Built by graduates who remember exactly how hard university was.
MyAcademicMentors started as a project between three postgraduates who were tired of seeing classmates handed badly-written, plagiarised essays from automated essay mills. We thought students deserved better. So we built it.
Why we exist
Three out of four university students will use some form of academic support during their degree: tutoring, study groups, editing, or model writing services. The problem is not that students seek help. The problem is the quality of help on offer.
Walk through the older players in this space and you will see the same patterns: generic papers written by unverified writers who have never studied academic standards, recycled content sold to multiple students, quotes that balloon at checkout, and support teams that are actually just chatbots. Students deserve better than that, and so do their grades.
We started in 2019. Three of us (a Master's student in Law, a PhD candidate in Marketing, and a Health Sciences researcher) had been informally helping classmates for years. When we realised we were doing it for friends-of-friends across multiple universities, we decided to build something that scaled the same care to more students.
What is different about us
Every mentor on the platform is a verified university graduate or current postgraduate scholar. They apply, complete a rigorous writing test, and get vetted by senior mentors before they take a single project. We turn down roughly 90% of applicants. The ones who get in are people we would trust to mentor our own family.
We do not run paid affiliate schemes, we do not buy fake reviews, and we do not resell completed work. Every order is written from scratch, kept private, and tailored to the student's marking criteria.
